This complete “Mask Set” collection of four vintage Halloween postcards published by John Winsch and printed in Germany were sold at auction for $1,476. The artwork was done by Samuel Schmucker. All of these postcards are in excellent condition, which contributes to their high value at auction.
“Halloween Gambols!” shows a clown and witch jumping rope with green goblins.
“Halloween Surprises!” shows one clown scaring another with a giant jack in the box.
“Halloween Faces!” shows a little girl in a white dress and multicolored Halloween masks.
“Halloween Faces!” shows a woman in a jack o’lantern costume holding a candle illuminating Halloween masks.
