St James Theatre. Mr. Harley, Stage Manager has the honor to announce that his benefit is appointed for this evening, Monday, March 13th, 1837 on which occasion will be performed an original comic Burletta, in one act, written by BOZ called “Is She His Wife”? Or, Something Singular!
Mr. Harley within the character of Mr. Pickwick makes his first visit to the St, James’s Theatre, and relates, to a Scotch air, his experiences in “ A White Bait Dinner at Blackwall edited expressly for him by his biographer “BOZ”.
