Collection of five large 16″ x 20″ lithograph costume renderings from “Gone With the Wind”, designed by the legendary Hollywood costume designer Walter Plunkett. Each of the four lithographs is signed and numbered 812/1000 in pencil by Plunkett in the lower left corner.
These litho costume designs from the film were produced in 1975 and this set includes four of Scarlett O’Hara’s most memorable costumes, and one of Rhett Butler in his white suit.
Vivien Leigh’s dresses featured here include: The green velvet “curtains” gown (numbered 812/1000); the Twelve Oaks barbecue dress (numbered 812/1000); the scarlet red birthday gown (numbered 812/1000 in lower right corner) and the black mourning dress worn to the Charity Ball (numbered 812/1000).
Clark Gable’s costume (numbered 812/1000) is the magnificent ensemble of the Southern Gentleman, the white three piece suit with matching country hat.
Each “Gone With the Wind” costume sketch measures 16″ x 20″, and 16.45″ x 21″ including the frame.
