This beautiful Sanderson Tropical hand camera dates to circa 1910 and takes photographs in postcard plate size (5″ x 3.5″ inches), popular during this era.
Made of polished teak with brass fittings, black leather bellows, the camera is fitted with a Koilos shutter by Carl Zeiss London N225467 Tessar.
Sanderson’s “tropical” version of their field camera was produced in 1904 and remained available into the 1930s.
