1919 Ludwig Hohlwein German Poster Internationale Einfuhr Messe, Import Fair

Wonderfully stylized image by famed German poster artist Ludwig Hohlwein. Hohlwein creates a spectacular nighttime scene to promote the first International Import Fair held in Frankfurt following World War I. A train, seen from below, crosses a bridge and drops flyers that are, in fact, flags of the various countries participating in the fair.
